Glow Espresso Bar

Oh my god, this was seriously the best coffee i have ever had. The barrister seemed questionably oily, but when the beautiful cappuccino arrived, i knew i had found God.
I ordered that cappuccino and a breakfast bagel, with a fabulous arrival time and was fulfilling
I then went back for lunch, and waited the normal 15 – 20 minutes for my meal, and it was satisfying.
the atmosphere was great, the furniture was comfortable and the staff was very kind.

We came here for lunch and it wasn’t particularly busy — maybe about half full, if that — but still the wait for food was woeful. I noticed that we weren’t the only table who were questioning where our meals were, and I could see that there was only one person in the kitchen, so perhaps they were short staffed that day.
We finally questioned where our meals were, and we were told that because one of our group had ordered fish and chips with grilled fish instead of battered, this had held up the meals for the whole café! What?! If you can’t make something, then say so at the time of the order, don’t make us wait 30 minutes for basic food on a weekday lunch.
My meal came out considerably later than the rest of the table, which was strange considering I’d ordered muesli with yoghurt and fresh fruit — something that really shouldn’t take much preparation time. The rest of the food was ok, not at all great, and certainly not worth the wait.
They do have Campos coffee, but all things considered there are other places in the area to get good coffee that have better service.

While waiting for a waylaid friend to appear
I forlornly wandered down Grey st and
sat down at this unassuming hole in the wall.
This cute little café served me one of the best
iced coffees I have had in Brisbane.
Lacking in the sickly sweetened taste I usually associate with iced lattes,
this brew was refreshing and super rich
(Which makes sense after seeing the Campos beans logo.)
If you want a relaxing pitstop (especially before catching a movie.)
I recommend you check this little place out.
