Dover Square Reserve

I have to say that this playground fits a lot into a small space! It also caters for a rather wide range of age groups which is always a plus.
There’s some shade incorporated into the slide and trees nearby but I don’t think they would give the playground too much shade. There is a bench seat under the shade of trees however and it’s nice and close to the playground. The table/​chair area isn’t sheltered but the BBQ is… which is the complete opposite to a lot of other park areas. On the other side of the playground are some tennis courts which are open to the public when the club isn’t using them.
This wouldn’t quite be a ‘destination’ playground but it’s well and truly worth a look and a play if you’re in the area. There’s a massive area for playing ball sports also.
