Harbrow Grove Reserve

This area has BBQ’s. This area has sheltered table/​chairs. This area has electronic toilets. This area has a drinking fountain. This area has a fenced off playground. This area has beautiful lawn. This area has a complete rubber floor under the play ground. These are all the things I love!!! So why only three stars?
I was super excited as I walked up to it but as I opened the fenced, I was kind of ho-​hummed about the playground :-(For such a pretty park area and for such a new playground, I would have thought there would be a lot more to the play equipment than there is. The City of Marion has put in more engaging and elaborate playgrounds in areas with not as many ‘extras’ (toilets, drinking fountains etc). Perhaps they ran out of money for this area by the time it came to developing a fun playground???
This is a beautiful park, but a highly disappointing playground. There is further construction happening at the other end of the park… hopefully it gets a little more exciting.
