Had a nice grilled chicken burger value meal from here. I don’t have takeaway that often but I really enjoyed the quality of this meal. Hungry Jacks make very nice burgers and tonight’s was no exception. Everything from the chicken to the tomatoes and lettuce were diced and preparedly quite nicely. The produce was fresh and as per usual was very affordable. The chicken was however a tad cold when it was served to me though, but I guess it balances out when the french fries served were boiling hot from the deep frier. The chocolate sundae afterwards was a great dessert too. The chocolate topping was very sugary however wasn’t too bad. It’s still pretty good for the $ 1.50 charged. Staff were friendly however they seemed to be a tad disorganised with their service even though they had many staff on at the same time. The store was also a bit noisy when I was there, but I guess that is expected as it was a bit busy.

We came here for brekkie after dawn service on Anzac Day — their main competitor with golden arches was PACKED, so Hungry Jacks(which is across the road) was the only alternative — and it was fairly empty. Pretty typical, actually! This HJs is pretty much like every other I’ve been to — lots of staff, but there seems to be a distinct lack of organisation, and everything is pretty sloppy. Brekkie is pretty good(but don’t ask for soy milk in your coffee!), and just what you expect for the cheap price. This isn’t a place I’d go out of my way to visit, but it is great that it is here — they probably get a lot of overflow from their competitor across the road ;) My tip: if you go through the drive-through, make sure you check your order before you drive off — it’s frequently incorrect! But that’s HJs for you ;)

Yeah everyone know Hungry Jack’s(even if Americans know it as Burger King). But this one offers one extra thing most others don’t have. It has one of the old train looking rooms outside. They used to be more like a real train and now it is more like an adapted portable building rather than a train like interior. But they have now set it up for birthday parties. It’s pretty cool because it is outside of the actual restaurant area itself and away from the other patrons a bit. It’s still right next to the outdoor play area though. With further outdoor seating the other side of the play area. It’s not bad and it’s just something a bit different which makes it worth going to and gives it an edge above the others. Still not as good as the Macca’s at West Lakes with the airplane we can dine in though.
