Fasta Pasta

Horrible food. We ordered a serve of garlic bread, wedges, supreme pizza and lasagne. Garlic bread was soft and could have been cooked longer, pizza was bland and base tasted like rubber. Lasagne, wow, WORST lasagne ever! Frozen packet lasagne from Woolworths tastes better!!! Wedges were okay but nothing special. All in all total waste of $ 40!

So; Fasta Pasta is a typical run of the mill pasta restaurant. It isn’t the best quality around, but it is good value for money. I am giving it 4 stars since in comparison to other ‘fast food’ type outlets it has absolutely friendly staff, good value for money, and the quality is above average for what you are paying for it.
I rang up to make an order of several different meals for pick up and was very surprised when the lady said it’d be ready in 5 – 10 minutes. I asked if she could make it 15 due to travel time and she said that was fine.
We ordered at around 8:50 and got there just after 9:00 and were greeted with lovely smiles and service. I mentioned I was just there to pick up some food and they didn’t bat an eyelash or loose a beat. The food was hot and fresh, none of us had any complaints.
Their BBQ Chicken Pizza had the biggest, juiciest chunks of chicken breast on a chicken I have ever seen. Kudos!

So we have been to this particular outlet a good number of times over the last 5 years.
Both for parties, and for quick take aways.
Though it is a franchise it has some individual flavour.
The food is what you expect, filling, tasty and various. The number of sauce options is a challenge of choice. You could be a regular and have years of variations before doubling up.
What brought about this review at this time was the service.
We had dropped in to get take away and the staff were, though obviously busy, very friendly.
That it took us time to order and remember various choices, they didn’t hurry us. Nor did they passive aggressively correct our poor pronunciation of a variety of Italian words.
The food appeared quickly, even the chef made eye contact, smiles and genuinely seemed to be happy to provide us dinner.
Our less than 10 min wait will be shorter on the future as we have discovered the app, we can order while traveling home on the bus!
We will be back.

I love this particular fasta pasta! Friendliest staff, quick meal service and delicious food! The penne pepino and ravioli fantasia are delicious. My family and I have been to this restaurant countless times over the last few years, and have never had a single complaint on the food or service! The manager is fantastic!

Yep, I’m a fan of this particular installation of the Fasta Pasta chain. Nicely done. They greet you at the door, show you to your table, instruct you on how to order, and then go away so you can study the menu. The food was precisely what I expected — hot and very good. Penne Bolognese is what I had and it was spectacular. They have a nice wine selection, including many from the Barossa Valley nearby. HIGHLY recommended.
