Great service and good food. I always feel at home in Café Lola as does my 2.5 year old son who is made to feel very welcome by the staff who are genuinily friendly. Coffee is consistently good and i have never had a bad one at Café Lola The food is very good and certainly reminds me of my days living in Spain. Overall I highly recommend Café Lola.

I really wanted to like this place more. Having been past for a takeaway coffee(good coffee) we came today for brunch. The setting is lovely — very open and bright, some lovely outdoor seating along Charles St. The glass windows open right up so has a great indoor/outdoor feel. Plenty of space for little ones up the back. The menu felt quite winter heavy to me(stew, baked eggs, roasted vegetables). Was in the mood for a salad or something of that nature. But ended up getting the baked eggs. M got the fried potatoes with bacon, eggs and blood pudding. Both dishes were serviceable. Bake eggs was a bit salty for me, fried potatoes came with too much of the sweet syrup. The staff are lovely and personable, very accommodating. There were a couple of requests from the tables around us(more tomato, eggs to be cooked more) and the staff was not fussy or snooty about it. I think this place would be lovely for afternoon/evening drinks because of the setting and relaxed staff, food wise would love to see a more seasonal menu.

Five stars for people with kids at this bubs friendly new café and a decent stop for everybody else: This space was formerly Touks and Chicco, both of which had terrible coffee, mediocre food, and poor service and Lola is a definite step up. The coffee is just fine and the food has a mix of Spanish items and standard breakfast fare. It won’t blow your mind but it does the job. The things that make Lola stand out from the pack are the exceptionally friendly service and the big kid’s play area out the back… think a cozy rug, books and toys, and a chalkboard wall. Plenty of spots for prams and a change table in the bathrooms make this a fantastic choice for a mum’s coffee date. Their outdoor seating is the best in Seddon due to the maximum sun exposure they get. All in all, a pleasant new addition to the hood.
