I’ve been here a few times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Consistently they have provided outstanding meals produced to a ‘food porn’ quality that not only LOOKS amazing, but tastes delicious. The service cannot be faulted and their serves are quite generous.

Just been here for breakfast had the eggs on fire and morning glory juice both really delicious, my only complaint would be that they don’t allow substitutions when you pay $ 24 for a dish you should be able to amend, also $ 8 for a side of bacon is a joke!

A little sleepy, from our flight we were in search for breakfast. Coffee could have been better but those eggs Benedict were down right delicious! We came back a second time a few days later and devoured some pretty massive meals! Smashed avo with added bacon & some pretty awesome juices! The music was also on point!

Hit and miss. It’s fairly expensive, but some of the food can be good. I wouldn’t hurry back there though.

Was told this is the best breakfast place so I visited here with a very hungry stomach. Was not impressed with the food. It had no flavor. I had the big breakfast and it was too greasy and no taste. The coffee was good. Was way over priced but then everything in Australia is over priced.

So this is my place in Scarbs… why only three stars you ask? Well I’m a coffee guy and to me the coffee here just isn’t up to scratch and when you’re paying four bucks it kinda should be. Right negativity aside the food here is really good a personal favourite of mine is the bacon maple syrup and pancakes with eggs. I’ll order this right after my Sunday morning run to counteract all the good work I’ve just done, and also because it’s a nice place be with cool décor and a great view of the beach. Worth a visit for sure.

I really want to give this place five stars as the coffee is delicious and the food nice but the service is below par. Went here on a Sunday morning just before 9 am and was seated promptly despite a substantial queue. I ordered an extra hot small skim mocha and my friend ordered the rooibos cappucino. We ordered the eggs on fire which come with eggs your way, chorizo, bacon, polenta cake, sweet corn salad and topped with avocado and half a large red chilli. My friend having these diet restrictions which are cultural asked them to replace the chorizo and bacon with their herb and garlic chicken sausage. The waitress told us they don’t do replacements as it angers the chef. My friend was adamant at getting it replaced. But the waitress refused. So we ordered additional sausages which cost a whooping 7 dollars on top. My mocha arrived Luke warm. Though delicious with the milk delicately blended with what tasted like melted milk chocolate. It arrived late and was room temperature hot. Our eggs on fire came with the chicken sausages on one plate and the bacon and chorizo on a separate plate. Lol. They plated the dish with the sausages after having refused to modify the dish. Lame. The polenta was ok. The harissa was tomaotey, the scrsmbled eggs were nothing spesh, the sweet corn salad was overly sweet and the chilli was nicely hot. My friends rooibos cappucino was watery and lacked the intensity of the rooibos flavour. Oh and they refused to do split bill or give us our change back if you pay in cash. I’m disappointed wild fig. You have so much potential.

I met a friend here for lunch not long ago and was sufficiently impressed that I’ll happily return soon. The smoothies are excellent as is the coffee. I usually have lime juice in my coffee and they generously gave me two slices!(Hard to get lime in coffees in Perth so this was a win) We shared the Beetroot Salad(my veggie friend had the goat’s cheese in a separate bowl) and the Spiced Eggplant Filo, both of which were delicious and filling. Staff were friendly and efficient, prices reasonable and menu varied enough to cater for all diets quite well including mine — über-ethical! Already planning my next visit

Been here several times for brunch and lunch, last night was first time for dinner. Have never been let down. The quality of the food is very good. Last night I had the steak, it was cooked perfectly to my liking(medium rare). The croquettes for entrée were my favourite. Everyone at our table were impressed with their meals. The mains took a while to come out after entrées were cleared, but it was worth the wait! Good atmosphere, we had a table facing at front facing the ocean. Nice to watch to the sunset.

I love the atmosphere in here. Great selection of healthy meals and fresh juices. You can earn points for future meals too. I’ve never had a bad dish here.

Great place — have tested it for lunch & dinner! Kids rated it as No 1 My favoritte is the risotto, kids love the pancake! Some good veggie alternatives. Excellent cakes for the sweet ones. Coffee — long black was decent. Free WiFi — important when we came to Perth with expensive data/roaming cost. Great service and friendly staff makes you feel welcome.

Awesome location and venue, makes for a great venue to catch up with friends and family. The coffee is good, the breakfast is fantastic and the view is awesome! On a couple of occasions though staff have been too preoccupied to notice I’m out of a drink or seeking some attention from them, but if you’re not in a hurry then I’d recommend you give it a go.

Perfect cosy spot to enjoy whatever you may be looking for. coffee, sweet treats, brunch, cocktails, snacks. this place offers it all! Great comfy vibe with ample seating and couches. Perfect open fire for those winter beach days. Prompt and attentive service with efficient staff. Coffee was great. We moseyed on over to this cute spot for an afternoon bite and we’re pleased with the snack options — I opted for the open grilled toastie(delicious homemade tomato relish) and the pork belly sandwich was also pretty impressive! I left this place as a big fan!

Absolutely loved it there the food was to die for you could tell it was fresh produce. Though I didnt try the coffee myself I was told by my mother in law it was really good coffee. Her actual words were it wasnt just good coffee it was a really good coffee, the beans were roasted nicely the temperature was perfect. She loved it I was really impressed with the food I had to rub an olive on what was left over on my plate so I didnt keep eating(I hate olives lol) the bread was to die for tasted freshly baked and was warm and doughy, just what you want from a bread if your a perfectionist about the bread you eat like me

I love going here for breakfast. They always offer great food and service. I first tried this place using the deal in the Entertainment Book(buy one/get one) which makes for a great date or catch up with a friend. ~$ 24 for two delicious breakfasts with ocean views.

WF has a cool vibe and is a relaxed hangout but we didn’t find this place live up to its billing. We had Big Fig and Eggs on Fire breakfasts. The Big Fig had a sausage that had an interesting flavour and texture(fig seeds, obviously) but was rather dry. The bread was very basic. On the plus side, lots of bacon and a nice grilled tomato. The(free-range) bacon was too sweet for us; either the pigs were fed a diet of(pancakes and) syrup or the chef accidentally spilled this on the grill? The Eggs on Fire was nice and looked pretty. I ordered it with poached egg, which wasn’t too smart as there’s nothing to dip the yolk with. Would be better to order this with scrambled eggs. Service was a bit erratic. First they forgot the water, then one of our coffees; it ended with(accidental) double charging for the coffee. But, great location and good coffee, so definitely no reason to avoid altogether.

Absolutely I’m a fan! Granted I have only been there once, I would definitely come back :-) The Wild Fig is located on the quieter side of Scarborough and it’s quite a refreshing and great place to enjoy a hearty meal, so close to the beach. The service was great, served with a smile and very efficient! Wild Fig itself is a large café with lots of places to sit so whether your bringing your partner or a large group they’ve got you covered! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Wild Fig, the bacon benedict with added avocado was super filling and tasty! My only slight dislike was the hollandaise it wasnt a silky, smooth consistency and instead tasted very buttery/oily. Breakfast prices at the fig are on the slightly expensive side however the servings are large and well worth the visit. The coffee was also superb and I am excited to visit The Wild Fig again soon, perhaps for lunch or dinner!

When the house is out of coffee beans and there’s only last nights dinner in the fridge that’s a bit too heavy for breakfast — Wild Fig is where I head for my morning fix. Located on the coast of Scarborough is this humble café that offers perfect coffees, delicious breakfasts with views of the Indian Ocean. The staff waiters are very attentive and are of great help when you just can’t decide what to have. There are power points everywhere, so charing you laptop/phone is no problem at all, and parking is not a problem as there are two parking lots just outside of the café. Although, it is another one of Perth’s cafes that have mixed and matched furniture from the 80’s — which I like — so it’s ok :)

Wild Fig has become a bit of an institution at Brighton Beach now days with customers lining up at various stages of the weekend days to get coffee, breakfast and lunch. I came here on Mothers Day for dinner with a couple of friends and it was moderately busy. Service was fast and efficient — it is much improved on the hiccups that plagued it when it first opened which is some time back now, A new menu has just been released. There are lots of new choices and it was hard to make a decision. I decided on the Chicken(bone in breast, herbed chats, grilled broccolini, thai red curry sauce, gremolata, lime coriander yogurt) — wow good choice! Everyone’s meals looked delicious but I was pretty happy with my selection and would return again for the same meal, the chicken was cooked to perfection, fresh vegies and the inclusion of red curry sauce mad this a winner with me. Wild Fig has a good selection of drinks, with a great selection of local and Australia wines and beers. Their tap beer selection is impressive and I was very happy to see White Rabbit Dark Ale on the menu. Nice cosy local café which is just far enough away from the busy growing hub of Scarborough to sneak in for a lazy dinner any night of the week.
