Yumm! Came here for a friends Birthday recently. Bottles of wine were really well priced under $ 30.00 but it was the food that really got me! We got a prawn pizza and squid legs which was so delicious. The pizzas come in two sizes and as we were sharing we got the larger option. All priced really well. There was a separate bar section, a restaurant section with ping pong table and an outside area. I feel like they’ve decorated very on point for the beach area compared to other bars on that strip that are too boring and modern. Can’t wait to return and try out new dishes on the menu!

A casual bar where you can play table tennis while you wait for your food? Yes please. I came here for a birthday lunch and enjoyed the décor and the selection of drinks. The menu had a few tapas(which I love), burgers and pizza. I chose the sliders and squid. The squid was delicious and reasonable value at $ 8, the sliders were less impressive but still passable. I managed to steal a few bites of food from other people including the whitebait, buffalo wings and sweet potato chips. I enjoyed all of them and will be getting the wings next time as they were the highlight for me. I was drinking pits of fat yak from the tap for $ 8.5 each which I thought was a good deal, while my mates were on a coconut drink; rum, Malibu and coconut water served in a coconut which they swear by provided you like the taste of coconut. I have nothing bad to say about this place, the bartenders worked efficiently and there was never a long line to get a drink or take a food order, will return for sure.

Buffalow wings, chicken salad, fries and beers. Water views and crowd watching. Love the Perth summer. Too much time eating in cafes and not enough working on my beach bod.

Ocean One is what it is, it’s a casual little surf bar that is good for a quiet(or not so quiet) drink depending on what you feel like. Drinks are cheap compared to some of the other venues in Scarborough and they have cover bands play on Friday/Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, which I always think is a plus. There is no real dress standard here other than you can’t wear thongs after 6pm! The only downside to this venue in my opinion is that you can smoke in the outside area, which for non-smokers kind of wrecks the view.

I love Ocean one bar it is such a relaxed place to go for either a casual afternoon drink to watch the sunset or out with a group of people on Friday or Saturday. The drinks are tasty usually with cocktail deals on most nights. They have bands playing and last time I went before Christmas I saw Sneaky Weasel Gang play there which was great. The walls are lined with old and new skateboards and surf boards and black and white pictures of what Scarborough looked like in the ’40’s and ’50’s. The crowd here is always relaxed and easy going which is why I love to come here no pretentious assholes or shenanigans(most of the time) you can just relax and socialize. You can grab a tasty pizza here or one of the huge and overly filling burgers or some chips in a conical paper cup.
