Best crepes and galettes in Sydney. Very authentic and tasty. Go watch a movie at the Ritz and then have a sweet crêpe afterwards. Makes for a great date night.

I tried Four Frogs in Randwick after having tried the Mosman one, and I have to say the quality of the crepes puts them over any other creperie I have tried in Sydney so far aside from Avila, and above most French crêpe places I’ve tried so far as well! It is conveniently placed in The Spot in Randwick, close to heaps of other venues more suited for a pre-dinner drink, and close to the Ritz Randwick which is one of the coolest cinema in Sydney. The place is cosy, with a funky decoration explaining how Four Frogs came to be, with products and ingredients on display, lots of wood: a friendly vibe. The staff is extremely nice, polite and patient — I’ve seen them deal with uneducated kids so many times! The crepes are very good, and I say that as someone who lived in Britanny, France every summer for over 20 years: they are truly good and well-prepared. The buckwheat-based savoury crepes — called a «galette» — are authentic and the traditional compositions you can do with them are all on the menu. For some reason though — and I compared three times — the Mosman ones are slightly better … The French ciders on the menu range from average to excellent and the chocolate and salted-caramel sauces on the sweet crepes are delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good movie & dinner night! One of the only specialty food that doesn’t need duck fat … or maybe … EUREKA!

I went to this crêperie with a friend to get a little taste of home and make her discover French crêpes and galettes. We were both delighted by what we ate. The galettes are tasty and a little crispy on the outside, just as they should be. The filling is rather generous and the salad on the side is a good plus. The menu offers quite a variety of galettes, as well as salads, so there’s plenty to choose from. This crêperie has French cider from Normandie and Bretagne, though not much choice. The one I got was quite nice though. The crêpes were also delicious, and the home-made salted caramel very good, and provided in generous quantity. My friend got a chocolate and strawberries crêpes, and they were also very generous on the chocolate and the strawberries. The overall service was good and speedy, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I strongly recommend this crêperie to my fellow French compatriots who have the blues and to anyone else who wants a taste of good French cuisine.

Had my eye on this for quite a while and finally got the opportunity to try it out at the French festival. Four frogs offers amazing crepes that are flavoursome and fresh with great combination ingredients. I had the options of savoury or sweet Crêpe and decided to opt for a savoury Crêpe. I chose ham & cheese Crêpe. Probably the most enjoyable part of the whole experience is watching the guys make the Crêpe on the cast iron Crêpe maker. Seeing the Crêpe slowly start to brown and the flavours wafting through the air in your direction. The Crêpe was generously sized and the ham & melted cheese were perfect way to satisfy any palette. Great representative of French cuisine and next time will try out one of their sweet crêpes.

If not the best crepes in Sydney most certainly the best variety and quality. Authentic French crepes! Yum. Something for just about every taste crêpe desire– sweet, savory, savory/sweet. The fig honey mustard with pine nut and goat cheese was unique and excellent.

I heard about this amazing crepes café in Mosman that’s always packed with a long wait. It has a very interesting name, called Four Frogs. I got very excited and looked it up online last weekend — turned out, there’s now one in Randwick as well! [Photo] Spinach, feta, mushroom & avocado galettes, $ 14. Amazing stuff! I especially loved the crispy edges of the galette(savoury crêpe), and the aroma of the feta. Also, their galettes are made with home-milled Australian buckwheat flour, and each comes with a bowl of salad. Bonus points for being health-conscious and facilitating guilt-free eating.

Visited this crêperie in January. The crêpes and galettes are really authentic; soft and crispy! I got a galette with chicken, Swiss cheese, egg, peri peri sauce & spring onions, while my friend got the salad galette with goat cheese, dry fig, toasted pine nuts, honey mustard dressing with prosciutto. The ingredients are very fresh and are of the highest quality. The staff here are French and our waitress was very friendly. Food came quickly. You just need a lot of patience to look for a place to park in Randwick!

Good place for quick crepes if you’re in the neighbourhood. Wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time here(so. many. french. people) but the crepes are pretty good. Got the coconut ice cream and Belgian chocolate crepes. Tastes good but nothing special. Wouldn’t go all the way too Randwick to get one again.
