Great coffee Decent service(hit and miss sometimes) Food is good except they give you wooden cutlery for take away… Not a fan. Good for take away coffee and a big breakfast.

Great coffee and service! Been here a couple of times and I haven’t been disappointed. The coffee has always been great, and the service from the barista is fantastic! He isn’t a barista wanker, but a genuine nice guy that doesn’t try too hard. Refreshing. The pulled pork sandwich is a must! They will continue to get my business :)

I like Bus Stop. But not a huge fan. It’s better more in theory than in fact. The café itself is eclectic/cute. It’s a touch pretentious with its faux exposed walls, but it’s a welcome change from the flash cafes that were all the rage a couple years ago. I can appreciate the college coffee shop feel to it. The food is pretty good, too. The rolls, savory pies and salads are generally good, and I’ve had their food both in and take away. I understand that a lot of the food is actually not made by the kitchen itself, but given its small size, I’m not surprised nor put out. For me, the failing surprisingly comes in the coffee. I have found it extremely hit and miss. Sometimes, it is superb: right temperature, proper consistency, rich flavor, etc. In short, everything you could ask for. But at other times, it falls short: the temperature is way off(way too hot or way too cold), the taste is too bitter, flavor too weak, etc. After several months of getting a coffee almost every week day on my way to work, I finally gave up expecting a consistently decent cuppa. So as a nice little tuck shop to get a bite, I don’t mind Bus Stop. As a place to get a stellar caps, lattes or espressos, I go to other Clovelly/Randwick establishments.

The Bus Stop reputed by some barista’s as the best coffee in Sydney, huge call but I can easily see why some think this. Great little place with a very friendly vibe and very good coffee from Little Marionette who is starting to establish a strong foot hold in the ever evolving Sydney coffee savvy crowd. The attentive barista here listens to his clients and in turn relays this info to the roaster who adjusts the blend to their fix needs. What else can a cafenista ask for? You won’t be disappointed in making this stop on your way to bronte or bondi beach this summer.

A recent addition to the burgeoning restaurant and café hub in North Randwick — ‘Bus Stop’ provides unpretentious local flavour to those in need of a quick coffee or relaxed breakfast/lunch. Having just opened its doors off Frenchman’s road, the café gets its name from the busy stand parallel and although new, this is not the owners’ first rodeo — having previously run successful coffee spots across the Eastern Suburbs. The staff provide prompt service and an array of fresh, ready to go options along with the daily menu, which uses quality produce for those who want to sit down and read the paper. Upon my first visit, I was recommended the chorizo roll which turned out to be a great mix of savoury and sweet. The caramlised onion worked off the mustard and sausage perfectly whilst the sourdough roll was fresh and soft, complimenting its fillings as it should. Their specialty beans provided for a great coffee and to be honest, the main thing I got from«Bus Stop’ was the vibe the owners and staff provide; passion for their product and ability to transfer that across to their customers. Will definitely be making this my local.
