Another cheap place in Sydney. Not as cheap as in Haymarket, but it’s also the quality here that counts so its worth the extra dollars. I’d see myself returning, although this place is a bit out of the way so not unless I’m around the area.

I recently moved to Pyrmont so I’ve been exploring the area for local eats. My flatmate mentioned a Banh Mi joint opened up semi-recently so I had to check it out. That was 10 days ago… I’ve been back twice since. Seemingly run by two dope chicks(I haven’t gotten their names because I’ve been enamoured with the food,) they offer specials and Vietnamese rice dishes(which I will eventually try, but I came for their Banh Mi(pork rolls.) There’s a dearth of Vietnamese food in Pyrmont and this place is the resolution! They pack plenty of meat in their Banh Mi and the ingredients are fresh and hella tasty, especially with their secret pâté recipe. They don’t bake their own bread but you can choose brown bread if you don’t want the standard bread. They offer authentic Srirachi on hand as well. At $ 6 for a pork roll, $ 6.50 for a chicken roll it’s on the pricier side but based on location and lack of other options in the area it’s understandable. Really like this place and can see myself becoming a local. Definitely one of the better Banh Mi joints in the Sydney CBD… you won’t have to travel to Mascot or Marrickville if you don’t want to. Cash only.
