Fidan Shevket is an accredited specialist in Family Law and has been practicing exclusively in Family Law for over 11 years. Fidan has helped many clients with their matters regarding divorce, de-​facto relationships, binding financial agreements and child support issues.

Craig Lockhart is an accredited specialist in Property Law. He has dealt in Commercial Leases and Conveyancing matters for over 20 years. His experience and extensive knowledge in his field means issues with contracts and clauses can be foreseen before exchange.

For over 40 years Fox & Staniland Lawyers have been delivering preeminent legal services to Sydney’s North Shore. Our aim is to resolve your matter as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

Our team of Solicitors includes 11 Lawyers, two of which are Accredited Specialists in Family Law and Property Law who can assist you with everything from residential and commercial property transactions to achieving a fair divorce settlement.

We also provide strategic business advice, with extensive experience in company law, construction, estate disputes and contractual disputes. Taking a collaborative approach to estate planning, we advise clients on wills and asset protection strategies that cater to their personal and professional lives.

Business Owner

Richard Staniland was admitted to practice as a Lawyer in 1968 and is one of the founding partners of Fox & Staniland Lawyers.

Richard’s main focus is in commercial property development, business advice, commercial negotiations and estate planning. When Richard is conducting your matter you can be rest assured it will be dealt with by a trustworthy expert.

Richard was awarded an order of Australia medal on the Queen’s Birthday in 2015 for his contribution towards KOPWA, formerly Ku-​Ring-​Gai Old Peoples Welfare Association since 1976, and his contribution to Ku-​ring-​gai Meals On Wheels since 1995.

Richard is a well respected practitioner within the legal community, a lawyer of choice for many of our clients and has long been actively involved in community organisations that assist the elderly.
