Great authentic Afghan cuisine. Complete with kabobs, both chicken and lamb, and naan! Excellent service, very fast! I hope I get to stop again before I leave!

Absolutely delicious — and a nice big area so there’s always a table! Options are really well priced — a plate with three skewers, rice and salad for only $ 15 is an absolute bargain and the fact that the food is tasty and the service is friendly is a bonus! The yoghurt dipping sauce is great — as I write my review I am craving it all over again!

Cannot miss this place we always love to come here. The mixed skewers served with rice is so good. But sad to say that the service is really slow and sometimes they forget your order. With serving such good food you expect a better service.

My first afghan food experience. Food looked great on the plate and absolutely delicious. The flavour combination was good and great value for the money. I don’t think they have anything over $ 15. It didn’t take too long to server the food. I’ll be definitely going there again and again to try their other dishes.

This place was so good! Food extremely tasty and well priced! We got 2 plates and 2 glass bottles of coke for $ 37. Plates had 3 shaslicks(sticks of meat) each, serving of salad(which wasn’t much at all but who cares) and a huge huge serving of rice! Came with yogurt dipping sauce and a spicy one which my husband tried and liked. I will definitely go back for more! We had it for lunch and I’m thinking of a way to convince my husband to pick me up takeaway for dinner! YUM!

The Afghan Charcoal Kebab place I enjoyed eating at from time to time has moved and now baring smashed windows it was probably a good move! Their new restaurant is quite big and full of space. It does feel a little sterile and non-homely but I do like the slight modernish interior of black vinyl and chrome seats and the sexy chandeliers with red fabric light fittings surrounding them. They even have some new flat screen tvs around the place and I think even LED screens for what will be the menu above the counter?(Don’t quote me on that last bit!) Bbq chicken with rice and salad. You can’t knock that back for $ 10. It’s a decent serving size as well. Some parts of the chicken were a little dry but it still tasted delicious! Mantu dumplings were pretty good. However since having tasted Parwana’s, there is no comparison. Parwana’s dumplings with that lamb sauce… zomg! Here the dumplings were nice enough but the lentils in the sauce were slightly undercooked. The staff were friendly and smiling and had a little chat about the move from South Rd to here. Hoping they do well at the new premises. If you are in the area and looking for a good and tasty cheap lunch, then this is your place! Bare in mind the wait times for meals to come out, you can’t rush delicious charcoaled meats!
