The Ghan Kebab House

We discovered The Ghan Kebab House tonight after deciding to venture a bit further down Prospect Road. The restaurant was quite busy with families, and the staff welcoming. Parking easy at the side, the menu was very good, and the meals very tasty, and generous sized. The menu has some shared options of mixed kebabs which can serve up to 8. This would save a bit of money for families/​groups, however we all chose our own meal. My lamb was delicious and tender, everything smelled amazing. We followed up with a shared plate of sweets. The décor is warm and exotic with tapestries, carpets and raised, carpeted platforms for families wanting to dine in a traditional way. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, a great place to gently nudge us ever so slightly out of our comfort zone.
Although the café does not sell alcohol they do permit BYO at a small charge

Love this place, any time I’m after a good takeaway meal this is the first place that springs to mind.
Can’t beat the bread they do here but could stand to be a dollar or two cheaper!
