This place is the mecca of alcohol. I say this with a glass of Shiraz next to me while I’m nestled on the couch.
My room mate often refers to this place as his second home because we seem to go there so often.
Its a great store with really helpful and fun staff. The store becomes especially fun when there are wine tastings!

Yes, it really is a liquor supermarket.
Aisles and rows of wine, spirits and beers and excellent prices.
Staff are always friendly and willing to help out, and if you find the right one they can give you excellent wine advice.
They even stock more unusual liquers and all the mixers you may need (tomato juice, lime cordial, bitter etc) but I wish they’d start to bring in Sour mix!
Can be hard to park at this location because of the busy Chapel st positioning, but the first row of parking at the back of the store is all non-​ticket.

Easily the best and cheapest bottle shop chain around!
My motto: «Never fear, Dan’s here».
Not very inventive I know… but Dan Murphy’s continually has the cheapest prices, biggest range and best knowledge of wine, beer and spirits where they must train or find people who are very alcohol savvy as I’m continually impressed by their recommendations and helpfulness.
No brainer!
