Liked this store — fairly close to our hotel so we stocked up on a few things for breakfasts (we have a suite w kitchen at the Blackman), plus wine, nuts etc for enjoying on our little balcony. Always interesting to walk through a supermarket in a foreign country and compare to the usual fare in the US. For instance here the choice of fresh and packaged breads was almost bewildering! The staff were very friendly indeed — for two freshly arrived foreigners finding their way around. Some unexpected observations such as things like eggs (always refrigerated in the US) heaped on shelves at ambient temperature ?!

The aisles are too crowded and their veggies aren’t always fresh. Try Safeway across the carpark.
