It was a great day at Brother Wolf. After having breakfast at Tall Timber, I walked around the corner to Brother Wolf to have my beard trimmed and a haircut. When I walked into this totally cool barber shop I was transported back in time to my childhood. The décor is so typical of a barber shop in my home town. I was immediately greeted by all of the barbers. I was lucky to catch them at the exact time when a chair came open and no one was waiting. This place is a very popular place and after having my grooming touch-up I can see why. The barbers are experts at their trade and that translates into a perfect cut and trim. I highly recommend letting the guys at Brother Wolf taking care of you.

Trendy place with a cool atmosphere. Great for a touchup with the clippers, but if you need a scissor cut this isn’t the place to go. While the fade I received with the clippers was great, my hair was butchered up top with the scissors. Like, I went home and clipped my own hair shorter because it was so uneven and terrible. Had high hopes for this place.

Everything about this screams old school barber! But with a ghetto modern feel. I love that they do really great tailored cuts. Suitable for both women & men and excellently priced. The guys will sit you down, chat about your vision, offer you a beer or a scotch for when you wait in the ever so vintage chairs. Listening to hip hop chilling watching the happenings around Greville st. I love that there is no descrimination here. I love the free flowing conversations. The look I wanted is like Kate Lanphear, fashion editor in chief of Maxim. My hair idol and these guys here have definitely started my hair styling journey on the way. Excellently priced and have great products for sale too. Whether you’re a gay female/chick who prefer shory hair or a dude who wants a classy hair do. Come here. Oh yeah! I GOTMYHURRDID! RESPECT. In times past, the Barber Shop was the Social Club, a local hub for gentlemen to gather and discuss ideas, share a drink and spruce up — all under the same roof. This is 2014 and now ladies are also allowed to Sip a beer, savour a whiskey and shoot the breeze. Nestled on Prahran’s bustling Greville Street, Brother Wolf goes beyond the concept of simply cuts and shaves; it cultivates a sense of style. If you are looking for a fade, hot towel shaves, pomps, quiffs or contours this is the place. Today was my first visit and I must admit I had some anxiety about seeing another hairdresser/barber as I have been seeing my current one for over 4 years, but after today I am willing to «break up» with the old and declare my love for brother wolf. Brother Wolf endeavours to create a fellowship, a place where gentlemen & slick styled women come to inspire each other and release their dapper potential.
