Specialties

Food

Inspired by the street food of South East Asian, Jimmy Liks, has an extensive menu offering a quick bite of tapas style street hawker nibbles or a full 7 course Jimmy’s Selection banquet menu ($ 49pp).

Cocktails

The cocktail list is a short sharp experience in taste. Holding true to asian flavours & a dedication to quality, the list is a fresh & innovative example of today’s cocktail phenomenon with just a splash of the best of the old school classics.

Wines

The wine list is fastidiously dedicated to compliment our Asian style of cooking, dominated by young unwooded & well balance whites and lightly wooded spicier reds. From benchmark Australian boutique wines to cult classics from Europe, the Jimmy’ wine list is designed to encourage variety. Around three-quarters of the list is available by the glass & carafe to encourages a ‘wine bar’ experience.

Bookings

Although walk-ins are very welcome, bookings of up to 60 people are available all week.

History

Established in 2002.

Opened in September 2002, Jimmy Liks was the combined creation of original owner Joe Elcham, architect Matthew Darwon & concept guru Rob Sample.

After 10 successful years, jimmy liks has recently been revisited by Matt to evolve the bar into an exciting new decade. Individual tall tables & lounge dining have transformed the once open bar area into a funky asian eatery & bar.
