Average food, cold beers and moderate to low prices. Noisy. Good value meal but there’s a lot of much better food options in Port Douglas

This was a last-​minute decision, and BOY am I glad it was! This place was great! Prawns were yummy, although my daughter was very put off by the heads still being attached. She couldn’t get over it, «they were staring» at her. They were very good and my pizza: BBQ sauce Pulled Pork, and apple slices was seriously good! I asked around for advice as to what to get and people kept telling me I couldn’t go wrong. But then the gal at the front said «when are you going to be able to have a BBQ Pulled Pork pizza?» and I said «You are right! I’ll take the pizza!» It was a hit!!!

Love the wood fired pizzas here whilst watching the footy and a game of pool whilst having a bevvy and watching the colourful guests in Port Douglas.

Cheap pitchers of beer and a ton of people watching! The music was good and everyone in our group had a fantastic time here!

Cool, casual vibe with this pub style come restaurant. The best steak sanga my partner has ever had… And he is a connoisseur of steak sangas! My carbonara was amazing– served with a side of garlic toast.
Can recommend the bruschetta to start! Better than some of the Italian restaurants around.
It’s a bistro type get-​your-​own-​dinner when your table buzzer goes– but the atmosphere, staff and extensive bar make up for having to get up and grab your own meal.
Awesome outdoor area– be quick to secure front table seating.

We were after a quick meal, just something easy and strolled along Macrossan Street. After looking for a while we decided to try Rattle & Hum as it looked quite nice. The ambiance at Rattle & Hum is definitely nice and cozy and easy going. After getting seated we waited for awhile as we were not 100% sure what’s going on and no one told us that it is a self-​service bar. Anyway, once we figured it out I headed to the counter and ordered the Mexican pizza to share as we were not too hungry. I was very disappointed once we got the pizza. There was supposed to be meat on it and all I could find was a tablespoon of mince. The rest was more of a Margarita pizza with a dollop of guacamole on top. And taste-​wise it also didn’t do the trick for me. The staff is quite nice, but the food and for a $ 20 pizza I do expect a bit more, even in a pub.

Good food with a great atmosphere. I would have liked if they asked about my choice between fries and salad or vegetables. As they didn’t I was given fries as a default. Not everyone wants fries as a choice. Otherwise I will know better next time and be prepared. Lots of backpapers are servers so expect some language problems. I can’t get used to the no wait staff concept where I have to go to each area to order and then have to pick up my own order. What are we paying for when no one actually does anything? The pub has great ambience and good food but be prepared to the work yourself.

Great food and atmosphere. Just got in with the family and was looking for a good place to eat with a good beer selection. Food was fast, and best of all, all 6 of us finished every bite.
Highly recommended.

It was really hard not to stop by here as the shuttles that pick up guests for their hotels is right outside :)
It’s a nice bar, open atmosphere, there are some fun/​entertaining games near the back. Pool is $ 4 which is… expensive in my opinion, but whatever. And although we never ate here, it was always crowded for dinner. Staff is friendly, we taught them what Mimosas were :)

Best pizza in town, very busy! Was told on arrival that we had a 20 minute wait, which was spot on. Points for being honest and accurate. Plenty of Gluten Free options, will be dining again for sure.
