History
Established in 1973.
The Ports best kept secret, The Port Anchor Hotel, previously known as The Kent Hotel, opened in 1876. It originally begun as two stone houses back in 1873, then formally converted into a hotel. The hotel changed names to The Port Anchor Hotel in the mid 1990’s, and then adopted the Art Deco appearance in the 1940’s.
