Primo is Primo. Pub style food as well as pizza and pasta. If you enjoy this type of food and are on a budget, Caffe Primo is fine! This particular outlet is bright and airy, and the customer service is good. The serving sizes are huge — recently I could only eat half of a $ 13.90 fish lunch special! The staff were happy to give me a takeaway container for the rest and did not charge me any extra. I have tried pizzas, pasta, schnitzels and some of the seafood here over the past 5 – 6 years. Never had a bad meal at this outlet. So, if you’re in the area and want this type of fare, it’s worth visiting.

Café Primo takes off from where Fasta Pasta left off and really it’s ok for what it is, primarily a pizza bar. We have mainly been to this location and Welland, but I don’t worry about going to Blackwood anymore as its a very different vibe, not too keen on the food compared to the other two. When we do visit it will be for a pizza only and whilst I do appreciate the complemantary garlic bread and it is yummy during the lunch menu, I don’t really need to fill up on bread before more bread. A cold drink will suffice nicely thank you. As for the after dinner treat, it’s a pancake with maple syrup(imitatation maple syrup) and a sickly thin cream, but it gets eaten none the less. The venu is busy most if the time as it’s in a good location but it is noisy and a little draughty during winter. There are several TV’s mounted on the walls but no sound and no subtitles enabled, so it’s kinda pointless staring at it. There are plenty of other choices on the menu but they are hit and miss, really it’s pizzas they do the best and at a reasonable price.
