Zambrero

Despite the hordes of hungry people that visit the Enex food court every lunchtime, the service at Zambrero is super speedy, so you can be in and out of there in minutes. The staff are also really friendly.
Burritos are comfort food for me, and the ones churned out by Zambrero are delish. I particularly like the black rice version, although it’s a dollar more expensive. You can also get the other usual Mexican fast food options here with a choice of fillings and level of heat chilliwise. I love love LOVE chilli, so this makes me happy.
Get yourself a loyalty card because if you buy nine burritos or bowls you get the tenth for free. Also, Zambrero is involved in plate4plate, so for every burrito or bowl you buy, they help provide a plate of food for someone in need. Warm fuzzy alert!
For me, the only drawbacks are that it’s a little pricey for fast food and Enex100 is noisy. Very noisy. That’s it. Everything else is awesome.

Nice little hidden gem right near perth underground. After seeing the titanic exhibit what better way than to have a Mexican fiesta!
Great range of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike.
I had 2 tacos veggie with guacamole and refresh beans with all the salads so tasty!
My friend had a burrito which is super filling and satisfying.
They have a fantastic support for homeless when you buy a bowl or burrito where they match plate for plate purchased.
The only downfall is the minuscule size of the place only 6 indoor seats and maybe 8 outside overlooking the busy roads.
Nonetheless affordable, flexible and delicious if you haven’t tried them before get on out there and tantalise your taste buds.

Zambero in Enex is a great place to get a quick mexican meal made to order.
Their staff are always friendly and helpful.
They ask lots of questions as you move along the counter so make sure you have had you coffee before ordering!!! I actually appreciate this as it means I get exactly what I want.
I have the chikitos (small burritos) with various flavours like chicken, beef, lamb and vegetarian and like them all.
They always have fresh salads to go with the meal.

Of course it’s not Chipotle but the food was very tasty and filling! My spot was just across from the beach so I would grab me a burrito and a beer and watched the sun set.

As a lover of authentic Mexican food, I can say that Zambero is not even close… HOWEVER, as long as that is not what you’re expecting, you will not be disappointed.
The beef typically has a hint of what I can only describe as BBQ — odd for ‘Mexican’ food, but not too bad in this format.
The salsas have some flavour and the service is decent.
Good, quick lunch!

Super friendly staff who are quick and carful, fresh ingredient that taste delicious and a good price there is not a lot more I can say about this takeaway counter in The ENEX100 food court but if you are after a great little Mexican treat in the CBD consider nowhere else.
