What an incredible chocolatey wonderland! John Walker is a clever little shop full of chocolate in all sorts of novelty shapes. They make fantastic gifts, for loved ones or just for yourself. I have in the past bought a gift for someone in here and eaten it myself. Don’t judge me, I did buy them a replacement gift! The chocolates come in such diverse shapes as hair-dryers, handcuffs and mobile phones. The quaint little store fits in perfectly with its London Court surroundings, as do the lovely, friendly and helpful staff tucked inside.

John Walker is full of all the chocolat-airy goodness one could hope for! These guys have combined an old school«traditional» chocolate shop with a new age angle resulting in delectable, multi-purpose treats. Boasting a range of conventional tempters in the window, such as chess sets and novel tool sets,(a great excuse to buy up if «just because I like chocolate» isn’t enough.) Inside this shop is almost a time warp with rich wooden floors and delicate displays. The quality is amazing– even chocolate haters(if there is such a wretched breed) would have to appreciate the craftsmanship and ingenuity involved in these art works. The service is as sweet as the products on display and whether you are drooling out the front or exercising less restraint while carrying arms full of goodies to the counter, this Chocolatier is a satisfying experience for all involved. The price is reasonable, more than a kit kat at the supermarket but if you’re a quality not quantity person then it’s a chocolate check mate to Mr. Walker–

John Walker Chocolatier is the one shop in London Court which does the court’s Diagon Alley style justice, looking like it’s just materialised out of the pages of Harry Potter itself. As my previous review on the court explains, London Court is like a real world Diagon Alley, and you half expect to see wizards sat at the café having coffee. Or maybe that’s just me. Anyway, John Walker really does look like something from Harry Potter, with baskets of honeycomb out front and chocolate shapes and giant freckles in its window display. The chocolate’s excellent quality and the selection is huge, so if you’re ever down Diagon — oops, sorry — if you’re ever down London Court, definitely stop in at John Walker.
