Oliver P.

Business Owner

I have worked exclusively in the area of criminal law. I am an experienced lawyer, having worked extensively as defence counsel and as a federal prosecutor at the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.

I have completed a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Notre Dame Australia, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law and I am admitted as a legal practitioner in New South Wales and Western Australia. I am currently self-​employed as a barrister and solicitor practicing in the area of criminal law.

I have experience prosecuting and defending in a broad range of criminal matters including but not limited to: traffic matters, assaults, property offences, sex offences, customs offences, complex frauds, manslaughter, cyber-​crimes and people smuggling.

My wife, Lana Paxman, and I started Paxman & Paxman Barristers & Solicitors in 2011.

We are a boutique criminal defence practice based in the Perth CBD.
