Diamond Nails

Nice décor and not squashed like most walk in salons, but after 3 days I had two nails snap off from the tip… will give them another try just in case it was bad nail day haha. Wish me luck!

Been here twice — first for a mani ($ 25) and returned a week later for a pedi ($ 35). Both times on a Sunday, which is convenient for me since I can’t ever think to make an appointment. The place isn’t horribly dirty but isn’t necessarily spotless. I was somewhat relieved to see they have a «Sterilizer» — a little toaster oven looking appliance that suppossedly heats up and kills germs on nail clippers/​nippers. Initially I insisted on «no cut» being wary of the technician’s skill with nippers (those things are sharp!). She proceeded to push back my cuticles and then gently suggested my cuticles were «too much, need cut» and motioned towards the nippers. Hmmm??? «You sterilize??» She nodded and motioned towards the «Sterilizer» then took out rubbing alcohol and started wiping the nippers. «Ohhhokaaaay».
Obviously the mani was decent enough to bring me back for a pedi a week later. I made sure to say «no cut» and pointed to the sides of my toe nails because I do NOT want ingrown toenails. I was impressed by the care the technician took with cutting my cuticles and painting my nails.
Again, it’s not spotless and could use an overall renovation but will do considering the price and they are open on Sundays.

Acceptable pedicure but certainly not the best I’ve had. The technician tried to cut down the sides of my toe nails after I had specifically told her to cut them straight across. There was quite a bit of polish left on my skin and I felt like she did a rush job even though there wasn’t anyone else waiting.
All in all my toe nails look ok and the price was reasonable ($ 35) but not sure I’d return.

They do a nice job with a very reasonable price. The pedi was perfect the Mani not so perfect but better than other places I’ve been.

Great salon. New interior, clean, efficient service, good massage chairs and most importantly — fair prices. Cash only so come prepared.
