With so many good reviews I was really disappointed by the food here. The restaurant is clean. Service is nice with the waitresses dressed in traditional Thai clothing. The menu is expansive with a selection of appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, stir fries and curries. My friend and I went here for dinner on a Monday night. We ordered the chicken satay and soft shelled crab as our entrée, pad see ew chicken, chilli basil duck and fried fish in Lemon herb sauce as our main. The chicken satay was bland. The soft shelled crab was delicious and 8 dollars for a whole crab and came with this delicious tomato sauce. The chicken in the pad see ew was dry. The duck was tough and hard to chew. The fish was delicious and soft but 26 dollars for half a fish. I don’t think Bangkok on William deserves all the rage but perhaps the curries are better.

Went for lunch and had a really lovely and authentic braised pork noodle soup, complete with the fried garlic and pork crackling! It was exactly what I was craving on a overcast, blustery day. My friend ordered the Thai green curry set and the curry was rich and delicious(definitely no skimping on the quality of ingredients). Décor is clean and modern and they have lovely Thai crockery. Look up and you’ll see a HUGE chandelier but it doesn’t overwhelm the room/make everything feel tacky. Also, no public holiday surcharge. I’ll definitely be back.

In being half thai I’m at times skeptical about dining out at thai places and paying when I can cook most of the time. My brother was adamant about this place so I came along with open judgement. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and tidy. Excellent service and a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and tasty, full of flavour. But to me it lacked quantity in its size of dishes for it being main dishes, even the entrée was disappointing when contrasted in the pricing. We had ordered one entrée of crabs and the crab was smaller than my fist, we weren’t sure if it was meant to be this tiny. Nonetheless though, the food had spice and is authentic. It comes down to the preference though of getting what you want in quantity, the food quality is mid-high but in my opinion, I prefer to have meals that are average sized when I spend my money on food so that you aren’t walking away hungry and needing to stop else where to fill up your tummy! Be sure to try it though, neat little place — as they say; «each to their own» — let your experience be the judge.

Excellent thai food! Bloody excellent! Wasn’t feeling so hot so I took advantage of their awesome delivery option. I’m very pleased I did. I crave Tom Yum like a crack fiend when I’m not feeling so good and let me tell you, Bangkok’s Tom Yum is a home run. Fantastically spicy and bursting with flavor. Their red curry is also noteworthy. I asked for some extra spice and they certainly delivered. Creamy, heat-ridden goodness. Delivery was fast and friendly and the pricing is moderate. Killin’ it on all fronts, Bangkok! Keep it up.

So impressive! Authentic Thai food, as if I was eating in Bangkok. Lovely restaurant, good service as well. Definitely come back to try other dishes.
