Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics

Oh how I love the Lush products. My facials (cupcake fresh face mask), soaps (so many to choose from) & moisturizer (full of grace amazing) all come from this place. I use a lot of their make-​up products too.
The staff are so knowledgeable about the products & are happy to give you a sample of most products to try out before buying — this is great because obviously as most of us girls know some products do not work well on our different skins!
I have been using Lush products for a long time as they are all veggie friendly & a majority are cruelty free (no animal products at all).
I love going in just to get a hit of the amazing smells in the store. Great for presents for all types of people.

All the staff at all stores have a great knowledge of products and all seem happy to atcually be at work.
The bathbombs are expensive but they are all hand made from quality ingredients and each batch even has a sticker of who made it-​how personal is that!
Trust me if you buy some of these products for a gift you wont want to hand them over!
There is even a station where you get facials and try there products amazing!

I love the big fizzy bath bombs, a great range of scents and sizes to choose from. Reasonably priced as well.

I’m not very articulate, so this review is going to be short and sweet.
I’m a huge fan of Lush. Everything is well made and very reasonably priced. The products seem good enough to eat, and from just looking at them you can tell they must be good for you.
I have never had a bad moment with any of the staff — they are always happy to help, or happy to let you browse if that’s what you want to do. I also love the feel of the shop — it’s kind of cosy and homely.
I love coming here to buy presents for people (and myself) and no trip to the city is complete without a visit to Lush

The smell oozing from this Lush store is quite overpowering, with a heady mix of too many different things fighting for your attention. If you are susceptible to hayfever or allergies at all, best you avoid this place. If you really want something shop online.
I like products from the Body Shop and the idea of handmade, chemical free soaps are attractive, but Lush stuff tries a little too hard for my liking. They are also a little too expensive for what you get. I think I will stick with The Body Shop.

What’s not to love about organic, home made, delicious-​smelling cosmetics? Lush has them in spades. Since opening up back in the 90s, Lush has given The Body Shop a run for their money. And rightly so, Their soaps are deee-​vine. Here you’ll find all manner of toiletries, like bath bombs with a sherbett-​y smell, mud masks, shampoo and conditioner, and of course your regular bar of body soap. Best of all? The testers! I highly recommend having a play with the products before you buy, or get one of the friendly staff to give you a hand.

I always get hungry when I visit Lush… the aromas, oh those luscious tropical and toffee scents! They almost urge me to take a bite out of one of the irregular shaped soaps!
The textures of their body products are as good as the smells. Soaps have a divine silky, waxy texture; you can tell just by handling them that they’re made by hand and free from industrial detergents or other nasties.
I love Lush products but I’m not such a huge fan of the prices so I rarely actually buy anything. It’s mainly where you come to indulge your senses or if you’re buying a gift for someone you don’t now all that well. I do however, take advantage of their miniature samples that they always rotate. Parceled in their signature unfussy paper; there’s always a new product to try out.

I must say, every time I walk past a Lush store, I’m overwhelmed by the blend of scents gushing out the door. That’s not a great thing for when you combine all that citrus, coal, butter, honey, oatmeal, nuts, spices, salt, avocado, vanilla, grape, turkish delight, licorice, pepper, mint, and goodness knows what else, your olfactory senses go into overdrive and it’s almost enough to knock you out.
That said, I like Lush in small doses. I’ve been given various Lush products as gifts in the past and my favourites are the Karma Soap (nice, smooth and simple), Stepping Stone foot pumice (sturdy and longlasting), and Keep It Fluffy Orange bath bomb.
I like the concept of squishing in bits of real fruit and other ingredients in their soaps but sometimes the heavy texture is too much. But that’s minimalist me, I guess.

Lush is, quite simply, freakin awesome.
Handmade; organic ingredients; 0 animal testing: its cosmetics for people who care about where their cosmetics come from.
And their product range is amazing — everything from lip balms, dusting powders and moisturisers to soaps, shampoos and perfume.
My sister bought me a beeswax lip balm from Lush that smelt good enough to eat (and I’ve been tempted to, I won’t lie). And knowing it’s made from all natural, vegan friendly ingredients is just the cherry on top of a tasty, ethical cake. Not to mention it lasted me AGES and is still, to this day, the best lip balm I’ve ever tried.
So if you’re in the Plaza Arcade in the city, stop in at Lush. You can’t miss it. It’s the store that’s overflowing with scented, colourful goodness.

When I moved over to Perth from the UK, I gained some amazing things in my life, living near a beach, hot long summers, but I did lose one thing and I was quite upset about it. It was Lush the fresh handmade cosmetic store, all of their products are handmade with fresh organic fruit and vegetables, not tested on animals and using little to no preservatives or packaging.
It started from a small town in the south of England and has grown to have stores worldwide. Even though it is an international company, when you walk into a Lush shop, you feel as though it must be a quirky one off stall you have stumbled upon, with it’s hand written signs, off cut soaps and friendly one on one service.
I have always loved the Lush products, their soaps leave your skin feeling unbelievably soft and your baths will never be the same again when you experience their bombs and bubbles and come out smelling like freshly mowed grass or pine needles.
