Sittanos Bar And Restaurant

Not sure what happened tonight. I’ve eaten at this restaurant less than a month ago and had a wonderful lobster spaghetti seafood dish and a seafood pizza. The meal was no less than excellent and exceeded my expectations. I ate here again this night for a family get-​together. Out of the various meals ordered we received broccoli that looked old, brown and soggy, a second risotto meal was dry and overcooked and another of the seafood risotto meals was overcooked soggy and drowned in a tomato based sauce with a squid that was so overcooked it was crunchy and not soft and rubbery as it should have been. When we alerted the waitress and sent it back with our displeasing critique, ten minutes later we were brought back the SAME plate with the same soggy risotto sans the tomato based sauce. Needless to say this was uneatable. We asked for a pizza in replacement and it took nearly a half hour just to get it to us and box it up so that we could leave. As you might imagine we were not happy by this time. We might try this again, but my faith in this establihment has been tainted.

Sittano’s is the place to go for Italian food. they make their pasta on site and it is literally the best pasta you will ever have anywhere outside of Italy.
although a bit pricey, you are definitely getting what you pay for and the owners and staff are extremely nice and attentive.
definitely need to make a booking a day or two before in weekends though.
