What’s open around Westfield parramatta at around 8pm on a Sunday night? One of it is this place. This place is a Hong Kong style café with varieties of food items to test out. There was an advertisement about the salted egg and roasted BBQ pork and hence decided to try something similar — white rice with roasted duck and BBQ pork and winter melon iced tea for beverage. Service was quick and one of the waitress even gave me more time to browse the menu. Winter melon ice tea looked cloudy at first but it dissolved after awhile — fresh. It was not too sweet and a hydrating beverage even for a chilly weather. I was also given hot tea on the side without any chargers. Food arrived. It was definitely well presented. Tried the pork first. It wasn’t chewy or juicy even though it looked like one. Probably need more sauce to go along with it. The roasted duck was juicy on some parts and it was inconsistent in terms of tenderness. Rice was a little mushy too. Preferred the roasted duck if I was given a choice. Price wasn’t too bad either. Overall, wasn’t my cup of tea besides the service and the winter melon tea.

This place is the best! I absolutely love eating here. I get my Cantonese food fix at this place. You know it’s good when they don’t put any peas in the Hokkien fried rice! Fast service here and that’s always a plus when you’re starving!
