What an interesting experience. I stopped here for a coffee in the morning and in the afternoon for afternoon snack, and sadly on both occasions was left waiting for an extended amount of time while the staff chatted. The restaurant was quite with only a few tables on both visits. And it left me with the feeling that veryone seemed to be more interested in having a chat than serving.
COW as it is more affectionately known is very child friendly with activity sets to purchase and a children’s menu that has a cow on it for the little ones to colour in while waiting for their meals.
I must admit I wasn’t blown away by the service and the given how quite it was I’m assuming that everyone has moved around the corner to new café that has recently opened up.
It does have a friendly feel about it, but I wouldn’t rush out to try it.

We have been coming to Café on Warren fairly regularly since moving in the area. The service is very friendly, the coffee never disappoints, and the food is always good. It always seems pretty busy no matter the day or the hour, but we can usually find a table. Lovely place.

We had breakfast here on Sunday. The food was delicious. I had the C.O.W Breakfast and it was great. Very generous with the bacon and the tomatoes were seasoned perfectly. They were very friendly and very accommodating of children.
Only downside was our table. It was right next to the kitchen so we gad a lot of traffic and was pretty noisy. But will definitely go back.

Oh my! How pleased was I to find this little gem not too far from home?
Café on Warren has a great breakfast & Lunch menu and a lovely ambience.
Not too loud and a wonderful modern interior with helpful staff.
I’ve had a bit of a sweet tooth lately so I ordered the brioche toast with caramalised bananas, topped with maple syrup and came with a side of ice cream. This was delicious!
The only downside was the coffee but I have to admit I’ve been very spoilt lately with the likes of St Ali, Dukes & Seven Seeds. All in all, I will be back. I’m so happy I’ve found café on Warren in Parkdale.
