I’ve been calling at Tuk’s once a fortnight for 4 or 5 years now, and it’s always a pleasure. These folks are always so friendly and no matter how busy they are (and they do get busy!) they’ve always got a friendly word and a cheery smile. Even so, they’re quick to fill your order so you never have to wait for more than a few minutes. Their food is great, the chips in particular are delish, the prices competitive, and nothing is too much trouble. What more could one ask for?

This local family business has been in the area for more years than I have. After the death of the patriarch of the family it was taken over by the younger members and is still going strong. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable and food s good «fish and chip» shop food. It is nice to be remembered when you walk in and the Para Vista shops have a village feel about them so we are always welcomed into this shop as we are in the others in the shopping centre. Well worth the visit for good take away food, you can stop in the the shops for other supplies while u wait

I used to live down the road from Tuk’s Takeaway before it was Tuk’s Takeaway. For years it was run by a lovely old couple who kept the place as long as they could. I’m surprised they hung in there for as long as they did, but time inevitably came for them to pass it on. Along with that came the name change.
One thing that’s consistent with the old shop is the quality of the chips. I love a good chip, and Tuk’s offer just that.
The menu items you’d expect are available from chicken packs, fish, yiros, roast chickens and burgers. If I was to look at it logically there probably isn’t much difference between this place and the multitude of other chicken shops out there. For me there’s a nostalgia factor as this place is a part of my childhood. I played my first arcade machine in this place.
I may be a bit biased in writing this, but I think it’s well worth a visit.
