STAYAWAY!!! Describing this restaurant as the worst is already nice because this place should not even be called a restaurant. The owner knows nothing about restaurants and doesn’t give a damn on all the TERRIBLE comments from here( Unilocal) and TripAdvisor. What a big waste of location. Service is terrible! Food is inedible! STAYAWAY!!! JUSTSTAYAWAY!!!

Such a nice location! But that’s where the good news end. Very poor barista skills, the hardest overcooked poached eggs of my life, salad without any sauce, dirty mushrooms. Sigh. All the potential of such a superb location wasted. And the beef pie, well, do yourself a favour and stay away from ordering that: it’s cold and has way too much of the cheapest beef mince.

Unfortunately they are the only place in this part of palm beach, so it seems they relish in the fact that they can stiff everyone who comes here. $ 6.90 for a takeaway sausage roll that they microwaved so the pastry was soggy!!!, and still cold in the middle Really I mean charge the exorbitant prices because you can but at least provide something decent. This sort of place really pisses me off. My suggestion. Go ANYWHERE else to eat. And for that insane price I had to ask twice where my sausage roll was, and as a comparison, a Ham sandwich was $ 16.90??? are you kidding me.

It would be just perfect if this place should have an anagram sign outside that changes weekly a la Fawlty Towers. Perhaps Palm Beach Paradise could become ‘Bah, Lame, Crap, Pah, Side’ or something wittier. Given the location — beautiful, prestigious, exclusive — this café has little excuse to be so disappointing. The coffee machine is tended by a lady who shouts loudly in Chinese to her employees who appear to hail from Eastern Europe — no wonder they were slow to react. The pricing is hefty(I paid $ 11 for 2 soft drinks and a small packet of chips) and is perhaps why they had so few customers on what should have been a very busy weekend lunch time. The fridges are stocked with sugary, fizzy drinks and there’s little that appears healthy. The counter is a clutter of menus and staff clothing in amongst food stuff and it’s hard to feel confident that the quality will be there in amongst the jumble. If I could see inside the misted up fridges I might be tempted by a cake but I suspect it could be damp. This place needs a visit from a Mary Poppins to whip it into shape. Maybe then you’d be willing to take a spoonful of sugar from them.
