Special family luncheon today with the relatives(my aunt Jean turns 70) so Dunes was the place selected. Great open air outdoor area and staff were fast, efficient and courteous. Book ahead and you organize a set menu instead of having 20 or 30 different plates. Good wines and also Dunes is opposite the set of work famous TV Series ‘who shot Charlotte’ «Home and Away» so you don’t know which star could be dining next to you! For desert highly recommend«Dunes Chocolate Bar» Yes I recommend. Wonderful day out at the worlds best beach.

Dune Restaurant and Kiosk is just back from the ocean side at Palm Beach next to Governor Philip Park. I haven’t dined at the restaurant as it’s always busy but it looks like a relaxed, upscale affair that could be the perfect venue for a celebration lunch or wedding. The Kiosk is much more casual and has some seating outside with shade. It’s near the park, so little people can wander around on the grass there. We bought a surprisingly good fish and chips from here, though ordering and pick-up was a little chaotic. The Kiosk serves Campos coffee, which is a really hard blend to mess up and thankfully they didn’t though it did take a while to make. Opening Hours Kiosk: Tuesday — Sunday, 8am till late afternoon. Restaurant: lunch, Tuesday — Sunday/dinner, Wednesday — Saturday Breakfast: Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am Closed Mondays

Take a romantic stroll down Palm Beach with a special companion before brunching for breakfast at The Dunes. Sumptuous food is featured on the menu, which is impeccably delicious and beautifully displayed. The restaurant’s atmosphere is relaxed and spacious. With sweeping views of lawn and excellent food, The Dunes makes the perfect meeting place for a coffee with the girls or a special family gathering. Despite good food, the main hostess was not at all accommodating and was a little standoffish. However, dining at the Dunes is a memorable and pleasant experience!
