Seriously one of the most helpful bike shops around. I’ve dealt with them a few times, with several different staff members, and its always been a positive experience.

Very impressed with the knowledgeable and helpful staff at this bike shop. I was custom fitted to a bike by Nat who has recently attended the Specialized bike fit course. Came away with a confidence in my bike that I’ve never had before. Stoked, thanks Nat.

Huge shout out to Nat Richards. Came in for some early stage information gathering on a new road race machine and left with a dialled idea of exactly what I’ll be looking for. Nat was more than helpful in explaining all of Specialized latest and greatest technology and options. Great store with knowledgeable friendly staff.

Im split between the two floors here. The guys at the bottom who are the hunky ones with muscle, id give them a four. These bulky guys are always really friendly, do a good job at servicing your bike and always helo you carry your bike up and down the stairs. Only problem is that servicing isnt the cheapest here and sonetimes the price they quote is different to when you pick it up. So always try to get a quote in writing when dropping your bike in. The sales guys on the top floor though, id give them a two. They always seem to have attitude and have never been very helpful at all. They have alright prices on bikes but bike accessories seem inflated. Also their website has lower prices than instore, when I brought this to theur attention the sales assistant rudely responded«oh but you will have to pay postage on that». Consumers should not be penalised for helping cover your rent. If large corporates have consistent pricing between their online and retail stores, you should too. Dear wooleyswheels, please try to get your pricing consistent at the retail and servicing levels.

Woolys Wheels have picked the perfect location to situate themselves. Amongst all the boutique clothing stores and hip cafes, they would easily be the best go-to bike shop for those that live around Paddington. And also with the more recent installation of bike paths around town, a lot more people are turning to the more efficient means of transport so Woolys will have to keep their stocks up. They have two levels of a great assortment of bikes: vintage style, mountain, bmxs, bikes for serious bikers, scooters and additional parts such as bike seats, handles, lights etc… Currently one of the window displays the latest three wheel scooter for kids in a variety of colours, so they have a great range for the little ones. There’s also another level downstairs where they can service your bike. These guys are pretty helpful, so you’ll be fine in finding the right bike for you in their knowledgable and capable hands.

So many bikes! This place is pretty cool, if you a cyclist. Two levels worth of various bikes and biking equipment, all top notch. And some great help too. And theres a service centre below, so 3 levels of biking assistance in total. And even little pedalless bikes for the younguns to walk/ride around on. But what blew my mind was a bike that could fold away. You know, to fit it in your boot. Mind. Blown. I consider this place a pretty dependable, knowledgeable store for your biking needs. I suppose the one thing it doesn’t have is unicycles. Tyler is disappointed, but has come to expect this of just about all cycle stores.
