P & L Fresh Meats Oxley

We use this shop to provide bulk supplies … which are priced very competitively… especially the monday specials. Some of the butcher lines in the display are pretty good too so always have a look, esp ribs, mini roasts, lamb shanks etc. They now keep some grocery type lines and cheeses which can be a pretty useful pickup. Basic salami and sandwich ham always at a good price. Freezers full of fish available too but it is all processed offshore so be aware it is imported product.
Conclusion … good shop for the basis of meat and veg. If you are looking for superior quality or unusual cuts it is probably not not your shop.

Best place to find a good amount of meat and for great price.
Also a big plus is the staff there are a great help. Would recommend this butcher to anyone!

I drove past this butcher many many times, and I’ve always wondered how cheap exactly the meats were and when I went in, I was very excited with the range. We got some rather large Chicken Drumsticks for $ 3.99/kg which is a pretty good price and also some really nice Rump Steak for $ 8.99/kg.
These went down a treat at our family barbeque and I am happy to report that we’ve been back since then many times.
They have great sirloin, the meats are always pretty fresh and the guys there are really friendly as well. Great for barbeque’s and family packs if you’re after then.

If you want premium meat at low prices, P & L Fresh Meats is one of the best butchers around. This is where i go to get my meat in bulk, because the prices are so good. Not just that, the quality of the meat is great.
The staff behind the counter are awesome. Of course, they are really knowledgable when it comes to meat and the cuts, but, what I love most, is if you ask them, they’ll let you know how to cook it properly. I’m still a bit of a newbie when it comes to cooking good food (I currently only excel in stir fry cooking), so I find it a blessing to my ears when someone in the trade of meat will tell me straight up how best to cook my chops or make a roast!
This is a great butcher with a huge variety of meats on offer. Make sure you come here only on the weekends to get the freshest cuts.
