Tucked away in a small northern suburbs shopping centre is one of the best Indian restaurants in perth. We went on a Friday evening and there was not a spare table. Very helpful staff and really good dishes to suit every taste. Best to book well in advance and also leave plenty of time if ordering a take away.

The Shenai Tandoor is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is consistently excellent.

People come from miles around for the Indian here including(rumour has it) the English Cricket Team when they’re playing in Perth. It is consistently good food. It’s a pokey little place in a really unflattering suburban shopping complex in Ocean Reef, but if you like Indian then you’ll enjoy it. If you’re going the takeaway option then take a tip — ring ATLEAST an hour before you need to eat. We’re regulars and ring at 5:15pm for a 6:45pm pick up. You’re dreaming if you think you can turn up, order and walk away in 15 minutes with your grub.

My favourite local Indian. The food is consistently incredible. Will always rate this as a top restaurant. The service is friendly and satisfactory. The only down side is that it is a little small and the seating slightly uncomfortable.

Delicious, worth the hour wait for a takeaway!

It has been termed by many regular patrons as the best Indian in Western Australia. Full disclosure, I waitress here but I can tell you from eating the food 3 – 5 times a week that it is the best Indian in WA. Homemade from scratch and using only the best quality ingredients, it makes for a great night of curry and conversation. The restaurant is a tiny shop front so on the weekends it is best to book but during the week a casual meal in a quaint booth is a great end to a day. Takeaway is also quite popular but I’d call in early because the line gets backed up. Not to toot my own horn, but the service is amazing and you may just be lucky enough to strike up a conversation with the witty waitresses. But I’ve said enough. The only way you can see for yourself is to get down to Ocean Reef and try yourself a butter chicken.
