A gem of a restaurant! This place is in a bit of a random spot… tucked away in a sort of extended shopping complex in Currumbine. You could easily miss it and, even once there, it hardly stands out in terms of ambiance. It’s more a of a standard, strip mall-type vibe, so perhaps not an overly romantic date-night spot. The service was very friendly, though a bit on the slow side and perhaps not the most efficient(we got asked the same questions a couple times). It took us 2 hours to make it through 3 courses, though we were a party of 7 and admittedly a bit slow in the initial ordering. It’s BYO, but they charge $ 2/person for everyone drinking what you brought. All that aside, however, most of the food was fantastic! There was a big selection on the menu, from dishes you see at most Perth Indian restaurants(saag, vindaloo, korma) to north Indian and Nepalese dishes. I found it nice that for almost any of the sauce selections you could get a variety of meats or a veggie option. I opted to try something new, with bhatmas sadeko(a spicy soybean dish) to start, then paneer kadai and pharsi ko tarkari(a Nepalese pumpkin curry) for mains. The rest of the party had a variety of lamb and chicken dishes. Everyone really enjoyed the food, though the spiciness seemed a bit hit-or-miss(one of our med dishes seemed hotter than one of the hot dishes, though less hot than another hot dish). I think pretty much everyone agreed that the pharsi ko tarkari was the absolute star of the evening — so flavorful and just a really new/unique dish to our palates! Yum! The bhatmas sadeko was also delicious, and the paneer kadai was fine. We all agreed that we would come back here for the food. It really was scrumptious and, as much as I love the usual Indian food, I really appreciated the Nepalese options here!(I have had Nepalese elsewhere a couple times and never really enjoyed it, so don’t let that scare you… this is fantastic!) I definitely recommend making a trek out to try this place — it’s worth it! :) Though apparently there is one in Freo as well… so worth trying there too!

This place is located in Currambine, away from thee main road in the complex that is somewhat segmented so it can be harder to find. However, the food in this place is incredible. The options are varied and sooooo many to pick from! The fare is a blend of southern and northern Indian cuisine with Nepalese dishes as well. What I really liked was the business was very accommodating(we and some friends had Groupon vouchers) and there was no problem with us using them at a group table and we had separate bookings time wise that they adjusted on arrival. The place is BYO and does charge a CORKAGEFEE p/p for this(only 2 bucks p/p). The dishes are all served mild unless you specify otherwise. If you ask for HOT, you will get it that way! Food was served quickly, extremely filling and the kids enjoyed their meals without complaint. Great dessert menu too. The service was pretty good. Definitely a place I’d recommend.

Was a really quiet night when my partner and I went but was really nice. Food was brought swift enough but not so quick that I questioned how fresh it was. Chicken mo mos were really nice. All out happy with this place.
