This charming store is bigger than the Parisian boutiques it aims to emulate, with four rooms in the two-storey house dedicated to all things French. The assistant told me it came about after her mother visited France and fell in love with the country. The owner’s passion for France is reflected in the great range of mainly French art deco and art nouveau jewellery and gifts in the store. Even the furniture that showcases it is typically French. The shop workers’ passion for their products and all things French is so strong they cannot help but share it with you. The little dog sitting on the counter with a bow in its fur on its head was also very friendly. JEWELLERY There’s a large range of Jewellery, including many classically French designs featuring crystals and glass beads. I like the silver-plated bohemian jewellery, made in Marseille, in the south of France, with its pretty crystals in particular. BAGS Some of the reusable bags in the store look a bit like ones that might appear in a French tourist shop, with the word ‘Paris’ and images of the Eiffel Tower scattered all over them. But there are some more stylish choices. I bought a cute one which was a nod to the Moulin Rouge cabarets with a dancing couple on it.

Wow. Simply, wow. I don’t think my life would have been complete if I never ventured into this gorgeous boutique. Their slogan«Very French, Truly Different» is absolutely spot on. When walking into this store, the lovely lady owner asked me if I’d ever been in there before, after I said no she went on to tell me about the store and their stock. The first thing she pointed out was that 98% of the items they had in stock, were French, and the other 2% are from somewhere else in the world. This impressed me straight away, what impressed me even more was that when she showed me a particular case filled of absolutely amazing jewellery items which I nearly shed a tear at their beauty, she told me that they were the only ones available in Australia. They were the only store that some French jewellers send their items too, increasing their beauty and awesomeness 100%. I fell in love. It’s definitely a store with character, with some of the loveliest staff I have ever seen. This family business is very warm and welcoming and just stunning. What’s better? For beautiful and unique jeweller — it’s actually not overly expensive. Some of the stuff can get up there, but there’s always something you will find that you will love in a decent price range when it comes to jewellery. To get a good example of the prices you will be paying for an amazing store like this, have a look at the website, as they have an online shopping section. But please, make sure you make the effort to go to the store as well. If only for the very friendly vibe and interesting stories.
