I recently stopped in to Zero for a piadina, an italian flat bread which is filled with ingredients, folded and toasted, sort of like a flat toasted wrap. I got the ham mushroom and cheese which was pretty good. Also available were salami, procuittio and Mortadella based piadina as well as a vegetarian version with Eggplant and capsicum. As well as piadina, Zero serves cassoni, something like a piadina calzone which comes in sweet and savory versions. The savoury cassoni come in a wider variety than the piadina, including a chicken and two vegetarian options. The sweet cassoni are filled with either nutella, or nutella and peanut butter. The last item on the menu were the piadipizza, effectively small pizzas bade on a base of piadina.

Zero is a small café with an equally small menu. They sell coffee, tea, soft drinks and a selection of Italian food similar to pizzas. It is called piadina and is a smaller version of a pizza, with thinner dough. I haven’t tried their food but the coffee I had was good. Prices could, in my opinion, be cheaper regarding the location(I paid $ 3 for a very small cappuccino). The woman who was working there was very friendly though and since I was the only customer I had the terrace facing Magill Road all to myself. If I ever fancy a great coffee I’ll probably go somewhere else, but I definitely want to go back and try one of their piadinas!
