In search for a late night sugar fix in Northcote led us to this Pizza joint, as we strolled along High St perusing menus in store front windows, we were kindly, almost seducingly invited in by someone who seemed like the restauranteur, «you’ll be much warmer inside!» Left, walked a few blocks and nothing else stood out from the Calzone with Banana, Nutella and Walnut that we saw on the menu so we came back and were warmly welcomed. Ordered it and was shocked at the huge monstrosity that was delivered to our table. Perfectly chewy and thinly crisp outside with a warm, gooey filling that oozed out as I cut threw the crust. The perfect bite with a dollop of vanilla ice cream to cool down and add some mellowness to the sweet goodness. The only letdown was the ice cream, wasn’t bad but just wasn’t amazing which is why I’m giving it 4 stars. However the staff made it such a pleasant and warm experience, always the cherry on top!

Very nice fit out, seats around 50. Service was good. I had swordfish that was on a bed of spinach and potato with peperanato on top. Delicious. My friend had lamb and said it was divine. Would def recommend and will be returning for a wood fire pizza that looked like the pizzas in Italy.
