As a Vietnamese girl, this is one of my go to spots in Northbridge. There are very traditional dishes in here that are hard to find elsewhere, as well as a lot of Chinese Vietnamese dishes for the Aussies! It is great value as the portions are good. My favourites are the Bánh Xèo(traditional crepes) and Bánh t(traditional meat and mushrooms rolled in rice flour). The DIY rolls are also tasty and they have a great combo platter. The only let down was when I had my usual Soursop smoothie, the fruit was quite stringy. I wish they could do some decent Vegetarian options but otherwise one of my faves, and has been for years. Very authentic food.

This place was a bit disappointing! Unfortunately I made the mistake of coming to this one instead of the one in Brisbane street which is meant to be amazing. Out dishes lacked flavour, authenticity, and spice. It was pretty bland food especially for Vietmanese! I will be trying the Brisbane street one soon. #goodfoodofperth

Went here to buy some takeaway rice paper rolls. Staff were not very friendly and it took over 20 minutes for my order to come out. I expected better from a Vietnamese restaurant which normally pride themselves on being quick and delicious. The price was reasonable and the outcome was good. Had the staff not treated me like an unwanted fly I would’ve rated this better

My new favorite! Food is cheap and authentic. Usually I pick one of the many noodle soup they’ve got(the broth is so yummy!) and sometimes order the cold vermicelli noodles salad with grilled meat, the seasoning is amazing! The prawn and pork rice paper rolls is a must! Always so fresh, I could easily have a couple of those for my main and be pretty stoked. To finish it off an icy cold jelly and beans desert drink. Super refreshing and my kids love it! Overall the quality is consistently good, generous serving and a really very cheap. Can’t recommend enough.

If you’re looking for a cheap and delicious noodles, they do have a lot to choose from. But I won’t recommend rice noodles because in general they’re not as great as egg noodles or vermicelli. I haven’t got the chance to go to the one in Brisbane St, but apparently they do intestines and stuff like that. This Tra Vinh offers noodles instead. For an entrée, go for the stuffed fried chicken because I promise you, they’re really good. And never miss the spring roll as that’s totally Vietnamese! The plate size is as good and they fill your stomach up to your throat you don’t wanna eat anymore. And to finish it off, go for durian shake if you’ve never tried it before. Durian is sweet and it smells quite strong. So it’s a drink for someone who really dig sweet beverages. But before you decide to get this drink, you should probably try buying the food and see for yourself. It’s either you like it or you hate it. And if you hate it, you’re welcome to send it in the mail for me cos I’ll finish it clean ;) but seriously though, they’re pretty damn tasty!

Looking for a cheap and cheerful noodle, and not disappointed. Busy, friendly and hot, just what was needed. Short soup, very tasty, vegetables in satay sauce, excellent. Crab cakes not the worlds best, ditto springiness, but hey it’s a noodle house. Recommended.

This review is for both Tra Vinh(one on Williams Street, and another one on Brisbane Street). I have been going to Tra Ving for an authentic Vietnamese noodles for years! Recently they have opened up another store on Williams. My personal favourite is the Stuffed Chicken Wings for entrée and either Spicy Pork Soup with Rice Noodles or Broken Rice for main. I will visit there at least once a week — does this says it all?
