The Voodoo Lounge

As strip clubs go Voodoo is probably the second best in Perth and in my humble opinion it doesn’t quite rate «A-​OK» but is a bit better than «Meh!»
It is upstairs and enforces a strict dress code so meatheads in singlets and thongs can stay at home. décor is very 1960s and pretty garish with a lot of mirrors and neon lights. there is even a pool table for Pet’s sake (?) If Austin Powers and a black pimp got together this is probably the sort of place they would design. Lighting is so poor I struggled to identify the notes in my wallet, speaking of which, drinks are reasonably priced for a nightclub and tipping «dollars» are $ 2 each.
There is a podium with two dancing poles and limited seating around it for patrons with tipping dollars only. The girls come out in pairs and go through their routines one on each pole with no swapping over so if you get the «nottie» rather than the «hottie» it is bad luck.
«Private» lap dances are conducted at the rear of the club but in full view of other patrons which is a bit daunting.
The girls do not mingle with the patrons as much as they do in Xotica but, generally, they seemed a friendly and attractive enough group.
The main reason I prefer Xotica is that the performing girls there work the whole room instead of just sticking to the podium so that you get to meet them all.
