History

Established in 2001.

Red Stripe Clothing is a small and spirited shop located on the edge of Northbridge, and in the centre of Perth City. Emerging in 2001 in (the now defunct) Subiaco Station Street Markets, Red Stripe Clothing was a mecca for locally made alternative clothing. Moving to the city in 2004 with nothing but a few racks of one-​off garments, an army of enthusiastic helpers and alot of determination, Red Stripe has become a veteran in the Australian alternative fashion community. Although the premises is small Red Stripe has plenty of pluck; stocking wares from over 15 local designers, this is where local fashion and accessory makers regularly test their newest designs, right up alongside Australian and international industry heavyweights.
