I wonder how many product lines the average chemist carries? There must be thousands. Possibly millions. Every shelf and wall in this apothecary is crammed with pills, meds, ointments, unguents, topical creams and — you betcha — big bags of glucose jelly beans. Had the Death Flu and needed some of that day & night cold medicine, these days there are tons of choices, make sure you check the active ingredients because the generic brands often have the same contents as the pricier stuff(I’m looking at you, Codral) for half the price. Which means you’re paying for their marketing costs. The staff are perfunctory and helpful and wear white lab coats, and that’s what I want when I’m poorly because it reassures me they know what they’re doing.
