We arrived to find the table we had booked was ‘not ready’. Another table was available, the one next to the kitchen. We were immediately asked for drink orders, we weren’t ready, so asked for a minute. After 20 minutes no one had come near us so my husband went to find a waiter. Our orders did arrive very promptly and the food was quite good, nothing special. After the table was cleared I was looking forward to dessert. Another 30 minutes of being ignored we gave up and asked for the bill. 15 minutes later asked again for the bill, we really had to almost wrestle a waiter to get any kind of service.

Marios really livened up the family dining experience in North Turramurra and balances the far pricier Cooks Garden. Great for families and a dinner date as well. Service has been a bit hit and miss lately with orders going missing or late to come out. Still love the place.

Lost a star the other night for very slow service. My meal (crab) was forgotten, and when it came it was overly salty. Still good pizzas but I could’t leave it at 5 stars.

A girlfriend suggested this place for dinner last year & since then I’ve been back half a dozen times, introducing it to others! The antipasto platter for 2 is a meal in itself, or a great settle in bite for a group. Groups & families love it, so if you are looking for something a bit quiet & romantic maybe mention it when you book so you get a table further away from the bigger groups.
