I think this is the place I’ve eaten out at most often in the last 2 years. Great place to go for a night out with friends — the staff are friendly and the pizzas are yummy. The food isn’t cheap but the pizzas are worth your money and you’re left feeling fat and happy. I’d recommend any of the meat pizzas — the Quattro Formaggi or the Quattro Salumi is classic. The potato pizza is good but not my favourite and I don’t think I’d eat a whole one to myself, but my vegan friend seems to go for one(sans cheese) every time so maybe you’ll love it too haha. Having said that, I’m not a huge fan of some of their pastas and didn’t like their Tagliolini Marciano. Wouldn’t recommend trying that. Their dessert pizza is great though — a classic Nutella that’s great to share with 3 others unless you’re feeling extra greedy and have it all to yourself hahaha(no judgement here, you go girl!). Basically, it’s a great pizza place and I definitely still need to try more of their food but it’s not the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I give it a like, not a love.

The place was so noisy couldnt talk to my neighbour. The space was huge like a big barn, with very little to absorb noise. The pizzas were ordinary at best. Service was below par

Wow I feel like I am in Italy and not Australia! I am so glad I found this place based on a Unilocal review. I had pappardelle porcini which the pasta is just perfect. My son ate pizza with sausage, ham and cheese and it is just like Italian pizza. I have traveled to Italy over 10 times in 4 years and first place I have found that matches Italy’s amazing pizza. Gratzi to everyone here– it is my new favorite Italian.

Guy walks into the Doctors rooms, he’s got a piece of penne in each nostril and a bit of gnocchi sticking out of his ear. Says ‘Doc I feel terrible, whats wrong with me?‘ Doctor says ‘Well first, you need to start eating more sensibly’ This place is really incredibly Italian even though it was a hardware place until about three months ago. It is now a massive restaurant and«Spuntino Bar»…nope, me either, no idea. The food is really fantastic, Lindfield, Gordon and Turramurra have each kicked off a few new places in the last few months which is a great sign. This is right up there. Shared plates and great authentic pizzas. The service was great if you got the right woman, the bloke on the floor was way too Italian and prone to wandering away. When I asked him for the bill he nodded at me and went happily dawdling outside? The lady was on top of things and was cheerful quick and helpful. We had prawns, rolled veal, meatballs, calamari, and a proscuitto salad(all of course described in Italian so D1 can show off) and a bunch of pizzas. Nine of us all well fed and happy. Its not cheap but its good value, the wine list is short and mainly Italian. The whole place is comfy and cool in a New York bar way. This just in … a spuntino bar is a bit like a tapas bar only Italian. There you go!

Great food & service Went for dinner here on Sunday night with my hubby &2 kids. The service was great, colouring in for the kids and the food was on the table 20 minutes after ordering. The pizzas were a big hit, very tasty and fresh. Also loved the«spuntino»(Italian tapas), with calamari, olives, cheese etc. Great venue, we will be back for sure. The menu, photo’s etc are on their fb page:
