This place is cool! A little gem kinda in the middle of, well, where you wouldn’t expect to find a great café! Brunch was devoured here before an hour or two(or maybe three) of antique/retro/vintage shopping next door. My husband and I were en route to check out the 12 Apostles but needless to say we got sidetracked for a decent amount of time! I definitely recommend a visit here if you’re in or passing through Geelong. And the great food is definitely fuel for a good bit of shopping(or just browsing) next door :)

Fantastic café. Friendly attentive staff, delicious food, good outdoor seating. Kid and dog friendly. Really enjoyed the trout, and the smashed avocado. Kids were impressed with the earthworm chocolate muffin! Great location near Melbourne road with plenty of parking.

One of the best breakfast/brunch spots in Geelong. It’s on the man road in from Melbourne and attached to Geelong Vintage Market. Have breakfast before or after you shop. The menu has a Deep South USA influence. Tabasco available.

Best coffee I have ever had in the Geelong area. Didn’t eat here, but the food looked pretty tasty and the place was packed with locals. Will be sure to stop in for a bite next time I’m passing through.

What a charming little place! We sat down for coffees before heading into the vintage markets, however I could not go past the peanut butter hot chocolate(!!!), also torn between that and the Mexican soda spiders. Our coffees and peanut butter hot chocolate were lovely and just the pick-me-up we needed before hours of walking around the markets. We did not order food, however it still looked yummy. This place loses a star because I saw one of the waiters drop a bit of rubbish from a plate on the patrons next to us and I couldn’t quite get over it, because he did not notice. Those things tend to stick with me a bit.

Unfortunately, I neglected to spend any more time than the lickity-split moment it took the staff to whip out my take-away coffee here. That said, I know from the food I was seeing served and the style of the café it most likely would have been my kind of place to sit down, read the papers or a magazine and watch the diverse throws of people who wander in and out of the adjoining vintage and antiques warehouse market. The coffee was Cartel and they also offer a single origin for the discerning coffee drinker. It was the hit of «oomph» I needed mid-way through our exploration of the Geelong Vintage Market. A diamond in the rough!

Cool little café attached to a vintage market. Amazing coffee from local producers ‘Cartel Coffee’ The place has a really earthy warm vibe about it lots of timber and an eclectic set of furniture(most likely sourced from the vintage market next door) I stopped past for a quick coffee in between offices but will definitely return for a longer visit!
