Emelia’s Vegetarian Restaurant

Pretty shocked to eat here last night and to order something other than the usual nacho roll, only to find out that the meals are now microwaved. Are you absolutely joking? I haven’t owned a microwave for several years now for the obvious reason that I don’t enjoy radiated food and I’m appalled that I was served a microwaved meal. You would assume when you eat at a restaurant, that the meals are being prepared and cooked per order and not pre prepared and microwaved to order which is what I was told is now the process when I quizzed the server after tasting the meal and realising that something just wasn’t right. Tasted like shit to be frank and the plate and bowl were piping hot, dead giveaway. Charging more and doing less. Is that the way of 2014? You should be ashamed. Emelia’s WAS my fave lil local joint to grab a bite at and now, won’t be. Dodgy!

Pretty good for something a little different! We ordered the nut loaf and the curry, both were yummy, and the free appetiser we were offered was a nice touch!
