This is a cute little café set off from O’Connell Street in North Adelaide. As per usual, I needed by coffee pick me up and Unilocal lead me here. A family run business is something that I always love to support. Upon my arrival, customers were lined up waiting for their coffee orders through the on-street window. Great for bike riders and people on the run. Breakfast smells filled the air, but I was in the mood for something sweet. Homemade banana bread, yes please. The Barista was very friendly and made a good brew. The coffee was strong and nutty. An Italian style espresso. I liked the presentation of the coffee and banana bread on a wooden board. It also makes things easier for the waitresses to deliver. Caught my eye on some tasty looking Italian Doughnuts. Wow, so tempting. But I was a good girl and refrained from getting a takeaway. I think I need to return for a full breakfast though. All of the meals passing me looked amazing! In case you have a group for breakfast, never fear! There is plenty of space outdoors.

Great place for a casual breakfast or lunch. The piadinas are delicious… so many to choose from, although I cannot go past the pumpkin one! The coffee is also great. Friendly and attentive staff and lovely atmosphere! Pop in you won’t regret it…

A butcher, a baker and a coffee maker all on the one corner of Tynte St in North Adelaide. As I wiped the sleep from my eyes on an early Wednesday morning I questions why I don’t live here. One of those«hidden gems» that North Adelaide Mothers Meetings have been keeping a secret for a while now and I can see why. The service is superb to the point that most people who walk in are greeted by their first name. Coffees are smooth, strong and soy-milk is perfectly creamy. So incredibly surprised that my fussy coffee palette was incredibly satisfied here! The breakfast options are paninis, piadinas(no idea what the difference is between the 2 btw) or something else carb loading related. The Breakfast Piadina of egg, pancetta and parsely was perfect but I eyed off the Swiss Cheese, Mushroom and Egg one for next time. They had some lovely sandwiches, baguettes and salads on offer for lunch too that would be worth a gander and they also cater for the primary school opposite the road. While sipping my coffee parents would come in and write an order on a brown paper canteen bag and kids could pick it up at school at lunchtime — fond memories… This place truly embodies the success that can be created by small business reaching out and making an effort with their local community. I’ll be back — even if I’m not from the area(ssshh don’t tell the locals)!

Beautiful spot, quiet street but bustling café. Cool and dark inside, sunny and open outside. Te double macc is top notch, and I love a place with a wide range of piadina, brioche and panini… make an order at the counter and they’ll bring it out. Is quite obviously the local hang out for the gaggle of local primary school mums but is also a good spot to sit and ponder the paper. As I finish this post, it’s great to see the staff helping a regular patron with the crossword :) a great community café
