So technically I didn’t buy anything here, but they warrant a 5 star review because of the great service I received. I have a pair of RayBans that are a bit too big for my face. When I first started using them, I didn’t really move around a lot(don’t laugh! But I’d just wear them while driving and stuff.) When I did start wearing them, um, during more active activities(like bushwalking or running) they’d always fall off my face. And I mean ALWAYS. I initially attributed it to my nose being sweaty yadda yadda yadda but when I couldn’t even look down while wearing them, I had to admit that I had a problem. I had friends tell me to just go to an optical shop and have it adjusted, so I went here one sunny Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the guy’s name, but he was really friendly. I don’t know but from the way he carried himself he could’ve been the manager… or the optometrist… or just a regular guy with an aura of authority. But anyway, he was really nice. He was quite thorough in checking how my sunnies currently fit and after adjusting them, testing how they sat on my face. It was free to have my sunnies adjusted and he was quite pleasant and friendly throughout the whole ordeal. I don’t need glasses anytime soon so I don’t know if I’d have a need to drop by again soon, but anyway by writing this review I hope y’all know where to go if you need an optical shop/optometrist in Newtown :)

out of all the optometrists in newtown, these guys had the biggest range of specs on offer, & not just the roy orbison style ray-bans either. very friendly staff & helped me out on price. they are open early on saturdays as well.

Walked in looking for some help with glasses and I have to say Riad, the manager, was very helpful in suggesting glasses and even adjusted my old glasses so they’d sit better on my face. I’ll be stopping in a few months from now when I need a fresh pair.
